Puppies

 Do you ever google image search puppies to put a smile on your face? Sometimes I do.

 Bulldog puppies! Dave's newest ugly dog propaganda. But I really do think these guys are cute. The puppies at least.

Puglicious

You might remember that Dave loves pugs. I think they're weird looking and that, apparently, is what endears them to him. Sometimes we brainstorm ridiculous pug names. Things like Pugnacious, Pugly, and this post's namesake, Puglicious. Now whenever I see a pug, I can't help but giggle. Cute factor: 10

Out of 10, of course. I can't get over how adorable this puppy is.

Yes, it's a french bulldog. Yes, Dave sent me this video as part of his ugly-dog-propaganda push. If only they stayed this cute forever...

But seriously, omigosh. This guy is adorable.

And just so you don't think I've gone completely crazy...

I searched for weimaraners, too. (I'm pretty sure this photo is a Wegman.)

Today I may or may not have googled "pug puppies"

...and then emailed them to my pug-loving boyfriend. May or may not.

P.S. An addition to my list below: 8. Root beer float tonight. Mmmm.

Pug Persuasion

Generally, Dave and I have differing taste in dogs. I tend to like "normal" looking dogs like labs and golden retrievers (wiener dogs being a notable exception). Dave, however, likes what I call "weird" looking dogs. All the time he'll point out bulldogs, frenchies, pugs, and anything else that, "Just needs more love than other dogs because they're so weird looking and get asthma and what if no one ever adopts them Ashley we have to give them a home!"

Today he sent me an email with this photo (aptly named "teeny tiny sleepy pug face"), subject line: Please please please...


You have to admit, it is kinda cute in this photo, huh?

Disclaimer: I'm sorry if you prefer bulldogs, frenchies, pugs or any other dog I just slandered by calling them "weird looking." It's all a matter of taste, right?

Sigh. This is my puppy who is grown up. How can you resist a face like this?

I want a puppy.

I ran across these pictures this week of my dog (ok "my" dog) Maile as a teeny tiny baby puppy. She melts my heart. Look at that stomach! Look at that face! I just wanted to share the joy with you. Sigh. I want a puppy...

I could look at photos of dogs all day...

But I won't, for productivity's sake.
